The vineyards don’t have dress codes, but we
understand you want to blend with other guests. Our
advice is to think “smart active” – like you would for a
round of golf. Make sure you’re dressing comfortable
for the weather.
Recommended: Warm layers for cool mornings, shorts
or capris, longer pants with tapered/slim fitted legs,
flat-soled shoes, sunglasses, sandals (as long as they
are secure) – and definitely sunscreen!
Not Recommended: Denim (heavy seams can become
uncomfortable), long flowy skirts or wide-legged pants
(loose clothing can get caught in the chain or spokes),
wedge heels, flip flops, mules.

Our goal is to remain on the backroads as much as humanly possible. However experience venues are not always on the backroads so we may need to be on the main road for a leg of the ride(which offers a generous bike lane) and by the way is also an official biking road. If you are averse to this please let us know, and we may be able to tweak the tour accordingly. Cycling is mostly flat, sprinkled with some rolling hills that may last for a minute or two, but you have an e-bike so no sweat!

Wine tasting fees are not included in the price of the bike tour because the wineries we visit vary daily.

Please keep in mind that we are in the heart of wine country filled with mostly vineyards and sprinkled with a few breweries and a couple of orchards.

Historically June- Mid September months rain is not a major
concern.
There are varying degrees of rain, such as a passing sun shower lasting 10 min or a little longer, and to the other degree heavy rain consistent for greater than 50% of our tour time spent together. East End Bike Tours reserves the right to reschedule the tour for poor weather. We monitor the tour until either very early the morning of the tour (for the most up to date hourly forecast, as well as the night before).
In the event that East End Bike Tours needs to reschedule the tour we would contact you between 6am and 6:30 am on your scheduled tour date via phone call or text.
If it is your preference that you do the tour on your originally scheduled date we will keep that in mind and do our best for you while considering you & your groups safety also. Note: Our support vehicle is equipped with rain ponchos for a passing sun shower.

28 Days or more from your Scheduled Tour Date we will provide a full refund.
Less than 28 Days from your scheduled Tour: we will provide a 50% refund. The remaining 50% will be applicable to a future tour date for you or a friend.
Fully Refundable Option We now offer the option to be fully refundable up until 6am the morning of the tour for rain only with the purchase of Trip Cancellation Insurance less the booking fee & card processing fee (if you have chosen to pay via credit card).
Note: Neither of these fees are received to East End Bike Tours. These are fees issued by the booking platform and the credit card processor which does not issue refunds).
Less than 48 hours from your Scheduled Tour If we receive notification of your cancellation less than 48 hours of your scheduled tour, your tour may be forfeited and no reschedule date permitted.
